We hope everyone is well. All of us on the Wonderland crew miss seeing our great customers at the store every day. Let us know how you’re doing — we would be glad to hear from you!

Another thing we miss is getting new comic shipments each week. Don’t you as well? We’re very hopeful to have some news on that in the near future, but we have nothing definite yet… Keep your fingers crossed for some details soon.

On that mysterious note, while we’re waiting for new releases to resume, we have been busy restocking our oldies. You can look forward to a greater selection that ever when we’re able to open the doors again. (But you don’t have to wait to send us back issue requests. Email a want list anytime, and we’ll check in our bins for you.)

Speaking of restocking, here’s a quick peek at some new additions to our back issue selection:

If something catches your eye, don’t hesitate to ask! We’re happy to give you the lowdown regarding price, condition, and anything else you might be wondering about. The same goes for graphic novels, supplies, and games and activity kits as well. By getting requests in early, we can get you squared away for our next curbside pickup date on Saturday, April 25th, 11am–1pm.

Don’t see what your collection is missing? Want lists are welcome! Just send us an email with any requests, and we’ll do the hands-on hunting for you. Shipping is of course available, and our next curbside pick-up date is Wednesday, April 22nd, 11am–2pm. Get your orders in early, so that we can get your invoices ready to go; no muss, no fuss!

We have no updates on when new releases will resume, but remember we have a store full of back issues, trade paperbacks, and an extensive line of comic supplies. If you ever thought, “maybe I’ll get around to reading (insert title here) someday”, now might just be the time to start!

We’re offering curbside pickup for your prepaid orders on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Mailing your order straight to you is an option as well! Please send us an email with requests if there’s anything you need or you’d like us to check stock on.

We also have a great selection of supplies for protecting your comics; walls of graphic novels, trade paperbacks, and hardcovers; and an enormous back issue catalog to help fill holes in your collection. Continuing the commemorations of characters starting in the 1940s, DC will be releasing 80th Anniversary Specials for the two enduring villains that debuted in Batman #1, CATWOMAN and JOKER. Each book will come with decade variant covers with work of tons of great artists. As DC releases the cover images, we will send out a future email so that you can reserve your favorites.

April is also going to see the start of Marvel’s new blockbuster summer event EMPYRE. The story of EMPYRE is going to be told through a main series and a series of tie-in minis and one-shots as well as tie-ins in the middle of ongoing series such as X-Men #10, so be sure to let us know how much EMPYRE you need, so we can order accordingly.

Image Comics is launching some exiting new series in April. We have ADVENTUREMAN from Sex Criminal’s Matt Fraction and The LUDOCRATS from Wicked + Divine and Die’s Kieron Gillen. Both series promise to be great series by master creators. Also, check out two OGNs from Image; Fire Power by Robert Kirkman and Chris Samnee and Bog Bodies by Declan Shalvey.

Also, The Boys are back! Garth Ennis is returning with “BOYS: DEAR BECKY”, a new story line featuring The Boys set twelve years after the events of the last series. Anyone who was wondering about what happened afterwards needs to pick this one up.

DEAD DOG’S BITE from Dark Horse by award-winning cartoonist Tyler Boss (artist of 4 KIDS WALK INTO A BANK) is a 4 issue series that looks quite good in our opinion. Page 93 of the Previews has some art and a synopsis to look over, and let us know if you want a copy reserved. This is one that may sell out!

Fans of Cullen Bunn should check out the sci-fi/horror mash-up ROGUE PLANET brought to you by Oni Press.

If you haven’t given them a look yet, the entire Upshot line from new publisher AWA is worth a look. They have an exceptional group of talent on deck, including creators such as J. Michael Straczynski, Mike Deodato Jr., and Kaare Andrews.

By Crom! For the first time, Robert E. Howard’s Conan is being brought to life uncensored in CIMMERIAN RED NAILS. Fans may also be excited by the upcoming March release of CIMMERIAN QUEEN OF BLACK COAST from Ablaze after some legal problems (happily now resolved). Multiple covers will be available for both series, so make your requests now.

As school starts back up and the leaves begin to change colors, our focus turns away from the horror themed yarns of October as we hope you are thankful for all of the comics that are being released in November!

With another month going, Marvel has another round of X-Men comics launching in the form of X-Force, Fallen Angels, and New Mutants (co-written by X-Guru Jonathan Hickman). Also, everyone’s favorite Centaurian scoundrel, Yondu, will be starring in his first solo title starting in November.

DC is using November to grace the Legion of Superheroes with their first ongoing title in 6 years with superstar creators Brian Michael Bendis and Ryan Sook. According to Bendis, this will harken back to the old school Legion concept while also being friendly to fans who are new to the Legion. Anyone who has ever been interested in the Legion franchise should find something to like here.

DC is also relaunching Hellblazer in the Sandman Universe imprint, bringing John Constantine home to the place he was meant to be. Finally, fan-favorite character The Question is receiving his first miniseries since 2005 from Jeff Lemire and long time Question artist Denys Cowan and superstar Bill Sienkiewicz.

The World of Image Comics is also getting a couple new titles by big time creators such as Family Tree by Jeff Lemire and Undiscovered Country by Scott Snyder and Charles Soule. Both titles should go a long way to continue all the creators’ legacies as legendary talents.

There were a couple more small press books that we wanted to highlight as well. First of which is Folklords by Matt Kindt from BOOM! Studios. This book is purporting itself as a reverse Harry Potter where a wizard from a magical world travels to the real world.

We also wanted to make sure people took a look at Breathers from It’s Alive Comics, RVP from Mad Cave Comics, Un/Sacred from Ablaze Comics (from the creator of Image’s Unnatural), and For Real by Uncivilized Comics.
