Hey, all,

It’s that time again! With another Tuesday under our belts and another stack of boxes unpacked, we’re ready to share a sneak peek at what you can expect to see bright and early Wednesday morning. This week is another “trade week” for Marvel as they get their release schedule caught up, meaning that there are no new single issues from them. Never fear, however, because we have plenty of other shiny new comics and books on the shelves to keep you occupied.

See for yourselves!

As always, we highly encourage you to get any requests in early. Our email inbox is open and waiting; we’ll do the rest.

In-store shopping is available this week on Wednesday, 11am–6pm; Friday, 11am–3pm; and Saturday, 11am–3pm. Curbside pickup is also available during those same hours — please email us ahead and request an invoice if you would like that option, so that we can get your order totaled and ready to go when you arrive.

See you soon (masks on, and six feet apart!) for New Comic Book Day! It’s gonna be a great one!

Phase 2 Begins With In-Store Shopping!

Posted by wonderlandcomicsny on May 31, 2020
Posted in: Reminders.

Hello, everyone,

We’re pleased to announce that starting this Wednesday, June 3rd, Wonderland Comics will be open for in-store shopping on Wednesdays, 11am–6pm; Fridays, 11am–3pm; and Saturdays, 11am–3pm. Curbside pickup will remain available as an option as well during the same hours on all three days. (For pickups, please email us ahead of time to arrange payment options.)

It’s important to note that we are operating at reduced staff sizes to maintain adequate social distancing, we’ve adopted improved sanitation measures, and we’re doing all we can to make a safe shopping and work environment for everyone. This includes a thorough cleaning of the store, installing acrylic shields at the checkout counters, displaying helpful signs for traffic flow distancing, and and providing hand sanitizer for use upon entering or leaving the store.

We respectfully request that all customers:

  • wear a face covering (such as a fabric mask, scarf, or bandana) over their mouth and nose at all times while in the store
  • keep a distance of at least 6 feet from any others in the store
  • help us to maintain a maximum store occupancy of 8 customers at a time

We thank you all for your understanding and patience for the past two months, and for your support as we do our best to ensure the well being and safety of customers and staff. We welcome you to follow us on social media (Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram) for the latest updates or email us at any time to place a pickup order or ask a question. We’re always monitoring our mail box, and we’re happy to assist you with your ordering needs.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

– Wayne, Val, Chis, Alyssa, and Lilly
